What Did It Mean To You
What did it mean to you?
To me it only meant everything
When you held my gaze
And told me not to dig deeper
The shadows linger
But they no longer have power
I climb up and out
Blessed by sunlight
The world is so big
And it feels like I can do it all
I can live a life with meaning
So I fill in the hole
Until it disappears
As if it were never there
To me it meant everything
