What Child Is This
What do I say to you
what do I say
could I go back?
If I can face you
face the truth
could I then save—
What question is this
it leaves me cold
leaves me with guilt
I'm here, a ghost
barely alive—
tell me I'm good
Tell me that once
the day will come
life really starts
One day you will
be me, then we grow up
we will survive
