What Are We Fighting For

Call me a fool if u will
I believe this life given is such a big deal

Each day is a new day given
Hell call it a new beginning

But don't tell me you don't care
Don't tell me that you don't fear

Through everyday life events we are supposed to learn
Love and grown not perish and burn

Look what has become of us
Doesn't anyone see the fuss?

Everyday so many lives are taken
For what though!? Satisfaction in those who are shaking?

No child should have to wonder if tomorrow may come
What happened to waking up to the beautiful sun?

Every conflict we face turns to war
But what are we truly fighting for?
