What Am I Looking For
What am I looking for, something I have not found yet
Is she out there, not sure but think that she might be
I guess when the times comes I will know
Just don't want to do something I will regret
Do not need another final decree
Just take things slow
"The Bible" says, unevenly yoked is a sin
And I am sure a believer in that
But what it took me to learn
I do not want to go there again
That is not where true love is at
Lord forgive me, I don't want to burn
Sometimes when young, it is all about lust
One night stands, do not stand for much
Look before you leap, cause it is a long ways down
Need one that I can trust
Not a band aid fix or a broken crutch
There has to be one somewhere around
One with a good heart and head in the right direction
Baggage is fine, we all done some living to get here
One that loves God and wants to love him more
Please Lord, make one better than my last selection
Maybe one day she will appear
That is what I am looking for
