What a Wonderful Way To Go

I don’t want to die, but if I do Maybe while making love to you I wouldn’t want a painful death A painless sleep for my last breath I’d like to think that when I go I’ll be watching my favourite show I’d die happy while laughing aloud Being the happiest person under a shroud Reading a book and having a laugh I might fall asleep and drown in the bath It might be nice to go out in style Eating, drinking and wearing a smile Lovely thoughts running through my head To last me right through to my death bed I can’t stand heights so I don’t like that I don’t want to die falling over the cat Remembering things that I love so What a wonderful way to go As long as I don’t have a fatal fall I’d really prefer not to die at all Pamela Griffiths
