What a Day
One of the best days of my life
That still stays with me
Is a funny day with my
Best friend at the beach
Enjoying the sun talking ang laughing
Playing in the water kicking and splashing
Then along came the seagulls
Who were hungry indeed
I learned one important lesson
Don't have lunch on the beach
They thought we were feeding them
But we were trying to feed ourselves
I remember this day so clearly
If I don't remember anything else
There were so many seagulls
And then more started coming
Don't ask me why but we took off running
As the seagulls started to follow us
We split up and oh my dear
My friend was still running holding
The sandwich up in the air
I laughed as I yelled drop it just drop it
As she let the sandwich go
The seagulls quickly swapped it
We laughed until it hurted
Stomach aching tear and all
But we learned to have lunch
At the picnic table
Not on the beach for sure
