What!!

WHAT!!
I did mean it when I said I’d be home after nine
So don’t stare at me like I’m uncouth
4 AM is after nine
So technically I was telling the truth
WHAT!!
You don’t believe I only had two beers
Why is that look on your face so smug
I’m telling the truth, it was only two
They happened to be in a five gallon jug
WHAT!!
Of course I’m able to talk straight
Damn right I’m able to stand
It’s just that you hurt me deeply
You opened the door and stepped on my hand
WHAT!!
Most accidents happen within 3 miles of home
That’s what insurance companies say
So I parked 5 miles down the road
And walked the rest of the way
WHAT!!
Of course I’ll be home early tonight
I don’t need you to give me fair warning
Would you still count it as early Dear
If it is early in the morning
WHAT!!

Shame on you, Vince Suzadail, Jr. So, 4 AM is after nine, and early means early in the morning, eh? You sound too damn lawyerly, buddy...and to think you were always bitching about how lawyerly ACLU is !!! LOL Regards, Fred (PS To tell you a secret though, your definitions to justify your late nights out sound just perfect to me who likes to stay out late at night at times myself having a good time with them buddies and whose motto is "Let the good time roll" !)
