Wet At Noon

I do not know if it is human or animal
Wet at Noon when the sun is so hot,
The time the world is fully awake,
I see the figure bristly making noise!
But I’m told the being is half human by will.
The other half is fully non-human by deeds.
The favorable diet is blood, beef cakes,
Wine, beer, honey and spirits, the drinks;
Water is presented simply as a fashion.
The being though careful with choices,
Hates humans but uses them for elevation.
With many secretary-like associates around,
Using thorns and fire to write agreements,
Hearts of humans as tablets for covenants,
Influence his actions to the pity of the world.
I paused a bit and asked ghostly audience;
Why should fate create such a double being?
What reason does Reason base on for existence?
If life is enigmatic must reason be so as well?
But I come to reflective conclusion that,
Wet at Noon, reason, Reason and life,
Are not only enigmatic but also a chimera,
So deep that flesh and blood cannot fathom!
