Weltanschauung

An inheritance
makes my life easy to live.
Headaches? heartaches? no hindrance
no hedge, I have money.
I long to know logic in life.
A door falls open
Entering I find the best
of friends, food, festivity...
lasting until midnight.
alarms alert me to wake up.
A second door, closed,
boasts the note, "key is within".
noticing no knob, I sense -
there is no keyhole here?
and muse upon this mystery.
The third door is home
where I rest without relief.
Wealth, words, Weltanschauung
keep up their steady pace
provoking my peace with purpose.
Determined to know
the key to that second door,
I crave, I coax, I call on
experts within my realm.
My money soon meets its Master.
Beating on that door
wrestling with my God.
Erelong hidden latch loosens
missing pieces float free
golden keys to liberty.
