We'Ll Never Know

Ships pass in the night;
seldom acquanted,
going separate ways,
ner' to meet again.
Faded into dark.

Sailing away,
ore' horizons;
hardly a wave
is left behind.

Emptiness
fills my soul,
left alone.

We were
passing

ships.

A gentle sadness kissed my face. When your love slipped by my place. Just like your poem, it fades away. I guess it wasn't meant to stay. The fade away line is in reference to the shape of your poem. Peace. :)
