Well Burnt Poetry

"Poetry is just the ash" voices clearly purged though boldness of inky ash laden passages, echoing that which most words cannot convey, pen cleanses sins & fortifies the soul speaks in volumes of verbose spirit weeping in smudges of tearful metaphors' bloodied and effervescent on the page, outpouring pathways to sentiment's reward & emotional translations' endeavor amid transcribed tribulations, piercing the eye for all to seek reflections smattered upon poetry within prerogative's freedom & simply usurped realities “Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.” ? Leonard Cohen

Poetry is just about..."Trying to make a connection with the world all around us". Nothing more - Nothing less. My best regards. :) john

Very deep and transcendental poem, Paloma. Transcribed tribulations ... couldn't said it better myself. As for those usurped realities, add supplanted fantasies to the mix as well. You are in rare form, I see. Good to see. Love and more love to you and yours.

Leonard Cohen was a cool dude. Then I turned around and saw hope scattergunned onto the ceiling, out of reach, and it was rather like a movie anyway, substantially unreal. There is a beautiful violence to your poetry, Paloma.

So very cool and so very you. Your unique style I believe would cause a tinge of jealousy to find even LC. Your poetry is amazing and your take on this quote from one of the greats is over the top good.
