Well-Hidden Misery
Look into my eyes
what do you see?
The happiness, the joy,
what about the misery?
Can't you see I'm hurting?
The feeling is plain as day.
I don't know what to do.
I don't know what to say.
Day by day
I hide the pain
behind Blue-Green eyes,
wishing someone somday
will unravel my cheesy disguise.
But not yet,
not today.
My pain ninja
is here to stay.
He locks the door
to all of my secrets.
I smile and laugh
at what cuts me the deepest.
Scared by his blade
at every painful memory.
Kept inside forever
is my well-hidden misery.
