Welcomed Morning Sun

The red yellow sunlight peaks through my eastern window
Summoning me out into the world and to bask in the day.
My heart, it has the desire to answer the invitation, but
I must awaken my lover, it is now time to play.

Warm embrace, arms are carefully and tenderly wrapped.
Kisses are seductively placed upon her lips, for to taste.
Slowly, methodically, with thoughts of desire and want
We explore each other, letting the sunlight show the way.

She, looking so vulnerable, but with consenting desire,
Welcomed me to her being, to meet her sensual needs.
Sexual, but loving heat, the exploring, the pleasures,
We are one, eternal, this morning as we feed.

The sheets were perfect like table linens in preparation
For a feast, for the queen and the king to dine upon.
Quickly, they’re cast aside as the passion overcomes
As our love reaches fruition in the welcomed morning sun.
