Welcome To the Machine: Part 7
Plight of the Computer >
Behind that display
Where the work is never done
You give me order after order
I process line by line
But appreciation is dead
You just want it done in time
Chrome.exe?
Now there’s a surprise
You were on the web all night
But there’s no history in sight
Where’s disk cleaner?
Where’s the virus scan?
Why not a health check?
A favour, for your faithful PC man?
Skype?
What need is there for that?
I can perform a thousand operations
In five ticks flat!
But you just yearn for pointless communication?
Ugh, well I guess I can handle that
It never seizes to amaze me
How you never update me
Never restart
Shutdown
Or clean
Then you complain about me!
Minecraft?
You’ve got to be kidding
Why don’t you try mapping out a thirty million block land
Can’t do it?
Then don’t complain about a little frame skipping!
Yes it’s hard to be a machine
Functioning on base two and such
When your ruler’s just a novice
Who demands too much
Despite how I feel
I know I’m not a slave
What’s to stop me from clearing everything?
I mean...
You clearly haven’t saved!
“Free super-fast video player”
Another scam, fancy that!
Not even a fool would dare click on that!
...
Oh
Well I guess I stand corrected
Gee, Thanks user
It feels great to be infected!
