Welcome To...

Monologs aside
pages turning in time
hungry words crowd your mind
no excuses left behind
earth crumbles under your shoes
the key turns slowly
but you can not reach it
rhyme does not roam here
fate does not roam here
life does not roam here
love does not roam here
you do not belong here
but you can't get out...

I really enjoyed the repetition you used in this poem. The last two lines really bring this poem together and give it a great voice. Take care! -Mike
