The winters gone and spring is here Brighter days that bring us good cheer Buds on trees now starting to show The lawns are growing soon to mow. Yellow daffodils' everywhere Crocuses', snow drops here and there New born lambs are a joy to see Run about in fields playfully. High in the trees the song birds sing Fanfare for the arrival of spring It is an uplifting time of year So do embrace it whilst it's here . Written 23 March 2019 For Spring is in the air contest Sponsored by Emile Pinet.

You appear to either be a month ahead of us, or you are using a super dooper part of your imagination, Tom. Either way, this poem is delightful, calling spring to come forward.

Love this one Tom. So well said especially here in Oxford Ohio. Spring is short here and quickly gets burn up here by our hot summers.
