Weeps

~~ Weeps ~~

This message I send to ask for help

To escape this prison I'm in.

My heart is encased in stone,

No longer free to love.

The walls are so high,

Blocking all light.

In the dark

My heart

Weeps.

The stone builds up quickly around a heart that's been wounded, Francine. You took a very creative perspective on the contest and I see from the comments you are among the winners. Congratulations! Love, Carolyn
