Written: January 03, 2024 _____________________________________ Wrenching writhing of capacious weeping willows In a dubious dream vault I felt spurred to seek safety from scorching sun subsequently, in confusion, I broke into a wide smile that reverberated within an inane, jumbled heartbeat, venous thrombosis. Imbue a pulse to svelte vessels I didn't realize when it started lacking friends and love shattered heart, rotting core halcyon recalls vanished just dying is the goal It's exhausting to suffer and cry.   Every sound in your name whispered in the breeze strengthened our bond going toward dreams amid fluttering twigs I discovered serenity and solace weeping willow's embrace wind rustled its twigs as music quiet fears of long-lost hopes seeking refuge from the hot sun I discovered this secret treasure a vault for memories and dreams It's a long way to hell alone life isn't awful, but no one phones I can stay here until earth scorns stay with my weeping willow.

Ah to solace of the weeping willow. A great place to feel the survival of one's soul. Beautiful imagery and so many great lines, my friend. "It's exhausting to suffer and cry", resonates with the pain in my heart at times. It is beyond my understanding, yet I freely accepted that which comes to me and my life daily. A FAV for my list, Sotto Poet. Well done! Have a pleasant evening, my friend. Bill

This is brilliant dr sotto, you have a way with words, and your wordplay shows you are a physician too, i guess, so clever how you weave words in such a creative manner: theres so many lines that stood out for me. But especially the descriptive nature of your lines as well as how evocative the ending is, really did hit strong “ Every sound in your name whispered in the breeze strengthened our bond going toward dreams amid fluttering twigs“ thats deep and so unique use of diction! Felt this. FAVE

I share your love for weeping willows. I find them to be the most graceful of trees. You've captured them beautifully. Since I was small, I enjoyed sitting under our willow tree...like you said, "I discovered serenity and solace in the weeping willow's embrace.' Such captivating words, dear Sotto. I also liked "I discovered this secret treasure a vault for memories and dreams." Your poem resonated with me. Have a great evening, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara
