Hungry children's stomachs are filled by a weekend backpack.

Thank you, Kim, my Wednesday PM reason for getting out of the house - pack backpacks. Actually we put the items in large shopping bags double strength because backpacks either were not returned consistently or came back contaminated with etc: lice, bedbugs, dog pee, mouse droppings, smoke you name it.

Indeed, we don't always know or hear from those that we try to help, we trust the Lord to lead us to the right families who need it the most.

The biggest treat for us, is when the kids write us notes, thanking us for the food and the other items. Sometimes we also send school supplies and a local dentist gives us toothpaste and toothbrushes every so often. It is a really neat program. Thanks for the comment.
