Wedding Vows
With this ring I thee wed
Only to awake and find that once again it's all pretend
It's my crystal clear visions of you whirling around in my head
People will say that one of the things to heal a heart is time
That's something I don't run short on and it's driving me out of my mind
It's like my heart and soul are locked away in a cell and being in love with you is my only
crime
Caught up here lost within the game
Constantly forever screaming out always your name
And it's making me go intensely insane
Here in these moments together, is where I need you to be
Making more sweet memories of you and of me
All I can do is hope that one day soon you will see
What I've been saying is all so true
But until that day may or may not come, I'll continue to be for you blue
And I'll wonder if time will ever give me what's due
And those visions will still be whirling around intently in my head
But reality tells me with this ring I do not thee wed
Because you are with her, for now, instead
