Wedding Ring In Tail
Monkey wedded a baboon
in the Banana temple it was
squirrel was presiding clergy
Monkey sat and meditated;
“No, to a ring in my fingers
My toes are dirty and clumsy
The ears are a shapeless beef
What exactly should I do?
Now, I know the best option
Ring must be worn there
There, there in my long tail
I can hide it between my legs
and deny having wedded
before my monkey girlfriends
Hurray, I have the best vision”
And so it happened as she chose
He wore wedding ring in the tail
But every time he wore it got lost
Whenever her husband asked;
“Why can’t you keep the ring safe?
She answered smiling;
“Whatever happens behind me,
Surely cannot be my concern”.
