Weather Forecast
Winds of change are predicted for the upcoming year
This thick blanket of fog, is expected to clear
The persistent, precipitation that has me soaking in stress
Is shifting its direction and headed out west
There will be scattered showers and possibly flurries
But I can count on the sunshine to leaven my worries
I’ll embrace the rain, instead of waiting for flowers
I will gaze at the moon through the wee morning hours
I refuse to take for granted, the partly cloudy afternoons
When a subtle breeze persists and the sun plays peekaboo
If the roads become icy, I’ll grab my skates and glide
I will laugh through the storms and pity those who cry
Yes, the forecast is looking good and unusually clear
I predict a wave of joy, this upcoming year
