Wear Your Courage As A Glove, Never Fear To Speak
Walk into sunshine with no fear upon your head
cast fear far away, slap back any dread.
Sample life, its mysteries and its golden gifts
sail your magic boat, sleep while it just drifts.
Watch soft-dancing moon while drinking glowing red wine
prowl seas of love, pleasantly you will dine.
Find rugged coast of Africa, sail round its Horn
sing praise and thank God the day you were born.
Ask you lover, hold tight and forever be true
tell your grandchildren what life was to you.
Climb that mountain, looking down from its snowy top
give thanks and swear truly to never stop.
Wear your courage as a glove, never fear to speak
know your rights, and admire those who are meek.
Walk righteous paths while sleeping soft in your night bed
love life's food, give thanks for your daily bread.
Hold anger back, know mercy is better instead
think Christmas joy, riding in horse drawn sled.
Live your life, live very long and peacefully well.
Wrap yourself in truth, know its best to tell.
