Wealth I Do Not Believe In You
Wealth I do not believe in you
Let me live minimum life
Life of with want, joy and hardship
I shall be happy on earth
Can I sustain myself on earth?
Can I provide for my family needs?
Does family have respectable shelter?
Can I give some charity to the needy?
If those questions are in the positive
Then why accumulate material wealth?
What fame do I want in real sense?
What is that pride for anyway?
My friend, listen to this I say today
For every extra car, shirt you have
For the extra acres of land you possess
For every idle dollar you keep
There is someone you cause to suffer
Consider the temporary existence on earth
Take note of the temporary nature of life
Then why deny fellow humans basic needs?
Pride with accumulated wealth on earth
Is to be a human lioness void of reason
But pride in wealth of the brain, good name
Pride in wealth of humility and love count
Virtues are superior forms of wealth
They are best investments in humanity
