If you don't vote responsibly, don't complain
We the Foolish People

We the foolish people, who follow party lines
Deserve what we are getting, when we're ignoring all the signs
The ones that we've elected , not supposed to have their way
They're there to represent us, We the People have the say.
If you're yelling for term limits, we've had them from the start
Don't vote for the incumbents, if they haven't done their part.
Yearly limits are as follows, House is voted every two;
The Senate six and staggered, continuity for you.
Together they're the Congress, as law makers of the land,
Must be elected every time, what don't you understand?
The President is in between, the first term only four.
Up for one more re-election, if We the People want some more
If you're not going to the polls, you're not one of the We
You don't affect the outcome of who we are to be
If you think your vote is useless, doesn't count to have a say,
You're part of the biggest problem that is facing us today
Get involved and speak to others about who should play the game
If you think you can do better, you should throw in your own name.
The more that we are all involved, to move from night to day,
The better all our lives will be, when “We the People” have our say
