We Talk To Ourselves
We talk to ourselves
all the time
For comfort
For pleasure
For a cure
many will not admit to this
they are too afraid of their own
Shadow
Pride is the number one killer for many
The cancer that eats the soul
when we are alone, we need a friend
someone to talk to
we are islands
a trash bag
a piece of crap
Floating upon a
sea of loneliness
the only thing between you and
the water, is you
we always talking to ourselves
maybe we need to listen
