We See a Way

As sure as the day is wont to die with night,
I give you my love with all my might
Descend now and lie with me.
You and I agree
always to
see
a way through.
We now can live free,
and by God’s hallowed decree,
to love tomorrow and yes, tonight,
As sure as the day is wont to die with night.
