We Needed You and You Were There
We Needed you and You were there
We cried the tears You wipe them away
We were confused and You cleared our hearts
We were afraid and You came right back for us
And held us up and gave us strength
And showed us how You love us
You gave us strength to stand against evil
To face the world in our LIFE with You
You put us up in the light from the dark
So high that we could almost see eternity
You showed us why we need You
We can not believe it's really You
We can not believe it's really true
We needed you and you were always there
We will never leave You Lord
Because we finally found the One who really cares
You help us when were wary
When we are lost You protect us
You gave us hope when we were at the end
You turned our lives back into truth again
You even call us brother and sister
We needed You and You were there
Thank you Lord for being there
We are now there for You
AMEN!!
