We Need Each Other

Such greenery she wears daily As she clings to my every word I offer stability for her, for even she admits I am her foundation, her needed rock She provides this poor old guy, beauty As the many that pass, often stop They stare in awe as their jaws drop To witness the beauty that is with me I am forever in need of her As her beauty adorns me, enlivens me, My once aged exterior now reflects youth And too, a sign of growth and hope She is now my forever love, No typical wallflower, but she is My forever, Ivy

I can see the images of the piece running up the wall. The greenery is always a sight of growth. It's just amazing how it stays that way all year long. I like the ending and how the revelation comes out. Great job! ~Joseph
