We Learn Lessons Daily In Grade School
A church gifted fifty turkey dinners to our students’ families.
One family was given two boxes of produce, meat and desserts.
Because they had seven children, and their parents were out of work.
They were appreciative, and lavished thanks on us.
One mother refused to come by the school to pick their box up.
A teacher drove an hour out of her way to deliver turkey, stuffing, pies,
We discovered later that the children did not receive this dinner.
“It would have been too much work” the mother told them.
Working in a grade school teaches us a new lesson daily.
