We Know Better

we know better

Transfixed
a moth to flame.
reports over and over
wring dry the news
hear her snicker echo low.

we are not
in control. we are
feathers in a blender
learn; do not snap fingers
under mother nature’s nose.

We never learn though. When will we outgrow our penchant for hubris. Perhaps we need to return to the land. Thank you jJannie!

Love the word play! (now/know) I "now" better than I used to, in fact I'm really good at putting off until tomorrow;-) My sense of urgency has calmed down considerably:-) Menana, eh? V2 - feathers in a blender! WOW, great visual. Happy day! ~ john
