We Didn't See it Coming
You took your golden arrow
and you aimed it at my heart;
I didn't see it coming
but I felt our loving start.
It began a gentle ripple
that spread throughout my soul.
It left me feeling happy
and it made my life seem whole.
Then you went and touched me,
as only lover's do;
my world became a better place
all because of you.
My hopes became your promises,
our dreams were uncompared.
With the loving that you gave to me
and all the times we shared.
So keep it coming always,
let our candle forever burn.
We've found true love's beginnings,
and now we have to learn.
To hold on to each other
and listen to our hearts.
We didn't see it coming
but we felt our loving start.
