We Created a Rare Love
There was never anything fallacious about his eyes.
The way he glared and stared without a veiled disguise.
Though I was intricate and he was slightly complicated,
I was always curious as to how he learned to tantalize
me when we first met, then a new love was created.
I was elated that we dated, he knew how to mesmerize.
We cascaded down a romantic vortex of a tempest.
I took the plunge and we loved with enthusiastic zest.
He encompassed me in complete and utter adoration,
we swore vows unto God and our love we confessed.
He began to eviscerate my anguish with inspiration
and through years of memories desire was expressed.
Intense scarlet armor was running through my veins.
Now only heartfelt and devoted appreciation remains.
He drowns me in unmitigated and complete affection,
I shower him in a deluge of passion, warmth he gains.
We share a rare bond, a delicate yet strong connection.
He is my protection, a parasol when it storms and rains.
His love will always bewilder me like a phoenix rising,
soaring with might, longing for prey while compromising.
Saturated in perplexity I am lost in wonder and awe.
He bestows raging emotion that used to be surprising
now I know that is just how he lives, tender yet raw.
The aria of a melody we lovingly share is harmonizing.
I shall honor him with the highest esteem and respect...
for it’s always been the way we venerate and connect.
