We Could Have Been Warriors We Still Are
We could have been borders away from home
Fighting battles we know not of
Walking between bullets
Stepping on iron made traps
We could have been warriors
But our hearts just wouldn't stop fighting
War of love for the ones our heart beat for
For those beautiful angels
We just couldn't risk walking between bullets
If not... We could have been warriors
For our unborn replica inside our jewels
The thoughts of never holding them
All because of some war we know not of
We want them the privilege of knowing us
If not... We could have been warriors
We aren't cowards, we are strong and brave!
But the war within our hearts has been won
By warriors without gun our hearts beat for
If not.. We could have been warriors
But here, we raise a toast
To the true warriors who walked between bullets
Who fought borders away from home
Loyal soldiers who fought for their nation
For the true heroes they are
For the legacy they laid between dangers
Like them... We could have been warriors
Inspired by the movie "Love and Honor " directed by Kamen Velkovsky, Sheri Davani.
