We Can Walk Proud

You watch as people suffer
lost jobs no wages
life living in a swag
we watch as people suffer

But what can I do
the problems to big
You can't fix the world
Government closed the city's down

To save lives
lives are more important than money
yet how great are Governments
To put lives above the economy

we can walk proud
in what we have done
but people need jobs
jobs to feed their family

Jobs to provide homes and housing
Jobs to provide books and text books
Government have been paying
Job keeper and job seeker

supporting people in lockdown
but you can't keep this up forever
lock down break the cycle
beat Covid 19

but then encourage your people in work
families, brothers, sisters, cousins and aunts
to save together, invest together
one hundred people saving ten dollars per week

Is a thousand dollars per week
fifty two thousand dollars per year
the deposit every year for building a house
rent out the house and it pays for its self

Your family would be on the road
to creating wealth
If every family is encouraged
to invest in building houses

your building industry would grow
our factories that make door knobs
your factories that make doors
your factories that make windows

would have work
your families would be building wealth
and with that wealth
they can then create work

for their children
then once people again have jobs
we could use that wealth
to build a healthy planet
