We can steal hearts

if I hold your hand and you hold back
if i kiss your lips and you don't mind 
if I take your time to pour out my heart 
if I  say I love you will tou then be mine ?

if I sing the songs the lovers sing
if I steal a hug one to many times
if I look at you in the eyes and make you shy
if I say I love you will you then be mine ?

what if I walk away and not look back
is the regret worth than the fight for love?
will you cry and call me back?
will I come and take your hand?
and have a happy ending Cinderella had?

if you walk away I'll follow behind
if I have to I will stay in line 
I'll wait till it is my time
we can't steal time but hearts we can
