We Can Overcome Our Past

We can overcome our past

God is greater than our hearts
And love is stronger than death
We were treated as insignificant and made to feel small
But before we could walk, we had to learn to crawl

God is greater than our hearts
And love is stronger than death
Our personal fears, He helped us change and overcome
Turning our weaknesses into strengths, the past undone

God is greater than our hearts
And love is stronger than death
Through His eyes we learned all the possibilities to see
Be our own best friend, love ourselves and our potential be

Thank you, Robert. Sorry I had not responded sooner but family crisis. I appreciate your input.

Decent write. When referring to the Almighty, the first letter of all pronouns such as "he", "his", and "him" should be capitalized.
