We Both Knew

We both knew.
We both loved.

We were both criticized.
But we both stayed strong.
We were young and free.
Living out a dream life

Some hated and talked much.
But we still did the walk.
Never giving up on each other.

When your mother called.
I told her the ugly truth.
I could feel her pain.
On the other side of the phone.
Yet she still gave us a benefit of doubt.

And when you met my parents.
You gave them confidence.
And they believed in you.
Something you always prayed for.

But deep inside me I knew.
That wasn't all there was to you.
You wanted more.
You craved only for the best.

Through the perfect sight you presented.
I could see,
Your lust for a loving family.
Your tremendous love for a child.
One of your own.
Your patience, oh my.

I can never forget your marvelous smile.
Your dimples, that amplified you beauty.
Your captivating glances.
Always giving me a rush.

I can't thank you enough.
I know someday.
The Almighty God will give you.
All your heartily desires.

You deserve better than you can ever imagine.
I am glad I have you.
My darling love.

Sahlom, Hallelujah in Jesus' name, for your JOINT LOVE & patience. You see, WAITING is big in the Bible, it is one of the best SPIRITUAL disciplines. Our parents - and your Beloved - have it. Technology spoils everything ... video calls, etc. We need alone time, but U write almost of my marriage. Except our first-born in S. Africa had a "handicap" & the "gossiping" never stopped. So I left Hinduism for Jesus.
