We Are Twin Souls
She lures me to the edge of the beach
My hair blowing in the cool wind of her.
I breathe her in, feeling we are one.
This feeling I get nowhere else.
I breathe her in as she greets me.
I feel wild and free so I take off my shirt.
I plunge into her; gasping at the initial cold.
She embraces me, luring me to swim.
We are twin souls – the ocean and me.
