We Are Thoughts

Inspired by following lines of Unseeking Seeker:
What may we do to remain in joyful acceptance, tranquil and sedate?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"When one fully renounces all the desires that have entered the mind, and remains satisfied in the Self alone by the Self, then he is called a man of steady wisdom." Gita chapter 2 Verse 55
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thoughts make man, decide life and personality
We are nothing but thoughts in totality
World is what we perceive in mind
In thoughts our world is confined
Most of our thoughts are superfluous
What we don't know doesnt exist for us

Thoughtlessness is the key to bliss
It can take you away from world's abyss
When sense organs are focussed on task in front
Rather than evanescent thoughts they confront
We experience perfection in action and peace
All our woes at that instance cease

When we do all tasks with thoughtless concentration
From kundalini raises up blissful divine vibration
To fill up the vacuum created in head
Transcending chakras, they gush out of head,
We see our soul, experience bliss infinite
Nothing bothers us, in own self we delight

We become one with God, immortal
We are liberated from the world of mortals
This is what all meditation course teach
Same thing scriptures across globe preach
This the real goal of human life
This is the only way we can end all strife

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note: Kundalini in Hinduism is a form of divine feminine energy. It is located at the base of the spine. This energy, when awakened, is believed to lead to spiritual liberation.
Thanks for participating in the contest and congrats on your placement! Oneness with God is indeed the goal! The energy path is great: questions cease when we become the answer! Ego, yet pursues!
Wise words, Rama... And thanks for the introduction to Gita... There's a saying in the Zohar/'The Light,' a Jewish book of mysticism: "The thoughts of a man ARE the man." (Translated from Hebrew by Yours Truly). Peace and Tranquility, Gershon
Very nice dear Rama. I have heard of Kundalini. But, donno much. Do you meditate regularly? You seem to. Loved reading Gita's verse. Haven't read Gita fully, though I know it's message. Message of Gita is something so close to my heart. Take care dear. Gn :)
No I don't, but as I wrote above just keep mind at task in front. Be thoughtless as you work. That is best meditation. Try it. Take care. Enjoy your day.
