We Are the Kingdom
We are the Kingdom the Savior decreed,
likened to Heaven, a promised seed,
our fore parents’ heritage, gifts from above.
Deliver us Father from a world without love.
We are the frightened, hunted, pure, innocence loss,
pursued by hands with no thought of the cost.
We are the abducted, the murdered, neglected and scorned,
entranced by social media’s alluring, secret storm.
We are the wandering- faithless, hungry, and lone,
seeking shelter from a disfigured home.
Call us the victims of this century’s wrongs.
Yet, history recalls, a child has suffered long.
We are the desperate, seeking to harm,
clothed in remorse, unforgivingly armed,
ending lives and our own, just so mad.
A video game was mom; gang leader was dad.
We are young ladies, lusted fruit to feed the land.
We are native sons, who must hide to be a man.
We are the chosen, a sought-after breed,
when our blood is spilled, all people bleed.
The enemy craves our destined souls,
who “are legion, many “as it is foretold.
Warring Angels to the Sodomites come nigh.
Blind the devourer’s desiring eye.
Grant us escape from the world’s wicked ways,
blight of humanity’s sickness these days.
Our light is in danger of being wiped out,
once nursed, cuddled, bragged about.
We are the sufferers the Savior called
as the disciples rebuked us one and all.
Save us. Pray for deliverance, NOW.
Your future rests in the heart of a child.
We are the Kingdom the Savior decreed,
likened to Heaven, a promised seed,
our fore parents’ heritage, gifts from above.
Deliver us Father from a world without love.
