We Are of Two Colors

ONLY TWO COLOURS EXIST IN THIS WORLD
ONLY TWO COLOURS OF SEPARATION EXIST
THEY SEPARATED ME FROM YOU
THEY CAUSED A STIR BETWEEN THE TWO OF US
AND TOLD YOU I WAS NOT OF YOUR KIND

ONLY TWO COLOURS
MADE ME YOUR SLAVE
MADE YOU MY GOD
MADE ME YOUR ENEMY
YOU DOMINATED ME BECAUSE OF TWO COLOURS
CALLED ME NAMES
KICKED ME
WIPED ME
SHOT ME WITH GUNS

YOU BURNT MY COLOUR TO ASHES BECAUSE OF TWO COLOURS
I HAD NO STRENGTH TO FIGHT FOR MY SELF
HAD NO VOICE TO SPEAK FOR MY SELF
I HAD NO UGLY FACE TO SCARE YOU OFF MY LAND

BECAUSE OF TWO COLOURS I HAD NO EYES TO SEE INTO MY TOMORROW
BECAUSE OF TWO COLOURS I HAD NO MIND TO MIND MY BUSINESS
I LEFT YOU TO MIND MY BUSINESS
AND NOW UP UP YOU ARE
THE ROOF I STARE

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
