We Are Love

I am your lips against theirs
I say without you my life is empty
I see him caress you
I hear you laugh as their fingertips braze your palm
I feel you melt at their touch
I am the passion that you consume…

I am your faltering heart
I cry when you sleep beside them for pleasure
I worry you don’t care
I wonder if I can help you see the light that you can’t see, even though it’s in front of your
eyes everywhere you turn
I pretend you won’t get hurt
I understand your desire for me
I am a volcano of lust…

I am the glowing of your heart when you see them
I want you to take a chance, to take a risk
I will hold your hand as you walk down the isle
I try and dry the tears that run down your face
I hope you are happy
I dream that you grow old with them
I am fate…
We Are Love…
