Waymo's Service Is A Detriment To The Economy-Society
Waymo's self-driving taxi service, or ride share service, contributes very little to the economy and food chain. Whereas human drivers of taxi and ride share services circulate their hard earned money and currency, and by doing so it stimulates the food chain. What Waymo's is doing is stunting the food chain, competing with the ride share industry, gaining momentum and establishing their footprint in 5 U.S cities and will soon be testing in Tokyo, and by doing so it will eventually displace human jobs.
Why is this good?
Can't anybody see this?
Why aren't there more voices, editorials, and opinions bemoaning Waymo?
One doesn't have to be a Nostradamus to see that Waymo will be a detriment to mankind, especially if the company expands exponentially.
Your conventional driver/worker may spend his or her hard earned money at restaurants, shopping malls, trips, doctor visits etc. He or she may also purchase a house, and start a family. In other words this blue collar worker will branch out, take root, and invest in our country. And along the way a lot of others are being fed. This is a good blueprint for humankind.
On the other hand Waymo will feed it's self righteous self and investors, where their/this money will pollinate their stock and not humankind. That's a shame. And when Elon Musk gets into the race it will only get worse. This is a disarrangement of the food chain. A bad shake up.Can't anyone see the repercussions that Waymo will cause? Sadly, this looks like to be our future baby boom.
Of the two choices, which is morally right ... you would think?

Waymo had previously tested out its vehicles in Miami as recently as last year. Miami would become the fifth U.S. city with widely available Waymo service, after San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Austin, where the company says it's now providing some 150,000 weekly driverless trips.
My take:
Granted that the Waymo's service has a better safety record, sleekier looking vehicles and offers the rider privacy ... but my question remains at what cost to society?
The frightening situation about Waymo is that the company is currently in it's infancy stage. Today there's x, tomorrow xx ... 5 years from now xxxxx and the company will continue multiplying nationally and globally, filling it's pockets and deteriorating the fabric of the human drivers across the globe that make up the taxi/ride share industry. Why would anyone let this snowball? Oh, I would guess, maybe a rider's support of a Waymo that doesn't care about Waymo's lack of contribution to society and the human food chain.
Finally, I applaud people that can see the big picture. And choose not to ride a Waymo service. Boycott for the betterment of society, I say. For once Waymo gains a stranglehold of the ride-share/taxi industry it will lead to other A-I crossroads into other industries that will displace even more workers. And then what? And then what?
