Notes About The Poem
Things are hidden behind her eyes

Waves Crashing Inside Her Mind
By herself every quiet day,
She walked to the ocean’s side,
And stood and thought about crashing waves,
Crashing inside her mind,
How they never stopped, never slowed,
Crashing into the shore,
How they caressed each sharp jagged rock,
In a peaceful sort of war,
And she felt how soft sand beneath her feet,
Drank these waves like wine,
The wine that calmed crashing thoughts each night,
Crashing inside her mind.
