Water's Might
When misty clouds gather to cry,
crystal clear drops fall from the sky.
And rainbows form where drops split light,
reminding us of Water's might.
Water quenches a thirsty Earth,
and all living things know its worth.
Rivers run blue or angry white,
reminding us of Water's might.
As solid, liquid, or vapor,
Water is a forceful scraper.
It sculpted the Grand Canyon site,
reminding us of Water's might.
Water is essential as air:
there is naught like it to compare.
Oceans fuel life without light:
reminding us of Water's might.
