Watermark - ed

Clouds leave their blue skies to be rain,
The wringing dark trailing behind.
Onto her palm, drops shadow's stain.
Clouds leave their blue skies to be rain,
While the water fills up in gray;
A cloud held to her face's cry.
Clouds leave their blue skies to be rain,
The wringing dark trailing behind.

Pain is turned into tears just as clouds melt down like rain. Great analogy, dear Paige.

Very beautiful, its not often a poem can shine past technicality, but you really achieve it here. The rain repetition is very strong and subtle yet, a wonderful contrasting here.

Oh the wringing dark! 🥺❤️‍🩹 I really felt this one! So evocative and atmospheric sweet Paige, the way you've woven this triolet is absolutely seamless and effortless... The lines chosen for refrain, how the clouds leave their blue skies to be rain...leaving a wringing dark trail behind, a absolutely melancholic yet smooth! It's always a pleasure reading you, sending love, fairylight and sparkles your way ~ ✨🧜‍♀️🌹🌙🌹🧜‍♀️✨
