Waterfall Above

Waterfall cascades from above And rainbows in the mist we see. Together, you and me, Enjoying new found love. Raging waters push and shove, Flowing fast out to the sea And here in a tranquil pool are we Languishing in love. Let the water run and flow And we shall bide here, you and I. Bathing 'neath the sunshine's glow, Observing lust in each others eye. Voracious appetites now show, Eagerly met, beneath this watery sky. ~~for Dakarai Cobb's 'The Sonnet Man's Acrostic Challenge' contest ~~

Flows like a dream....like a waterfall!! The acrostic was not forced, but seems natural and beautiful! Well done!

The rainbows in the mist are my favorite image from your dreamy poem....reminds me of so many wonderful times at the Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills, Ohio. The other image I love is the raging waters pushing out to sea... You are a very good writer and Dakarai will agree. Gwendolen
