Water Hibernation

Placid and frigid
Clad shrouded stones of splendor
In a winter bath

Placid and frigid - I like the two words put together in the beginning of your Haiku. Cool. :) Thanks for your comment too. Love, Iolanda

Not sure I want that bath--especially if it was in North Dakota right now. Nice use of alliteration in the second line. If this is a contest entry, best wishes with it. Keep on writing! Karen

This one is good! Is it for Raul's contest? Some people, like you, can come up with some beautiful words to describe beautiful images. Nice! Good luck in the contest. Smiles, Dane Ann (soup mail)

Quite a vivid image, Laura. I like the idea of the stones "sleeping in winter's bath." Great haiku! Love, Carolyn
