Vincent Van Gogh is one of my all-time favorite painters. Sometimes, I identify with his emotions as portrayed in "Lust for Life" Fortunately, I haven't cut off my ear... But I have felt the frustrations. Your choka captures the desolation and aloneness ("stranded on the beach") that he probably felt when he painted this without any people... He was stranded in life, lost in emotion. Have a great day! (Your next contest sounds like a LOT of FUN, Brian!!!) Smiles. Dane Ann
